Our interests include 3D medical image, image-guided surgery, medical robotics, computer-assisted surgery, and fusion of these techniques for minimally invasive precision diagnosis and therapy. We have developed an autostereoscopic medical image named Integral Videography and implemented it in an image overlay system for surgical navigation and other aspects of image-guided surgery. We have also been involved in long viewing distance autostereoscopic display and 3D visualization. We have publised more than 190 peer-reviewed articles and proceedings papers, as well as 28 patents, over 270 abstracts and numerous invited lectures.
